Data based constitutive modelling of rate independent inelastic effects in composite cables using Preisach hysteresis operators

Abstract This contribution aims at introducing first steps to develop hysteresis operator type inelastic constitutive laws for Cosserat rods the simulation of cables composed complex interior components. Motivated by basic elements rod theory, we a specific approach modelling adapted this application. Afterwards, describe hysteretical behaviour arising from cyclic bending experiments on means Preisach operator. As shown in pure experiments, slender structures such as electric behave inelastically, and open loops arise with noticeable difference between load cycle following ones. The plays an important role describing input-output relation behaviours, it can be expressed superposition relay operators. Hence, mathematical formulation problem is introduced, attempt made determine that describes curvature moment. Therefore, suitable kernel function identified way its integration over plane results moment specimen, comparison different functions performed.
